Role:Internal Sales Person - Renewables

Package:26,000-35,000 (DOE)

Location: Rochdale

Hours:Mon - Thurs (8:30-5pm) Fri (8:30-4pm)

Our customer has a busy branch in Rochdale and is looking for a Customer Service & Salesteam member to answer internal sales calls, produce quotes, process orders and manage some accounts that will be assigned to them. This role is specifically looking after renewables customers, so some experience in Solar PV is essential.

This is an exciting and varied role that involves all aspects of branch operations including customer service, admin and some warehouse work.Candidates MUST have previous experience working in a Wholesale Branch specialising in any Trade (Electrical / Mechanical / Builders Merchant / Plumbing & Heating etc),and will need to have previous customer service experience and be both confident and competent on the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive & handle Inbound Customer Service Calls (no cold calling or business development)
  • Account Management Calls
  • Producing Quotes
  • Administration tasks
  • Picking & packing orders
  • Checking off goods
  • Ad hoc duties when required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly & professional phone manner
  • Excellent organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working in a Wholesale Branch specialising in any Trade (essential).
  • Experience working in a Sales/Customer service based role (desirable).
  • Have the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a larger team as well as on your own initiative.
