We are currently partnering with a Housing Association based in Rochdale, who are recruiting for an Estates Managerto join their team on a temporary basis.

The start date for the role is subject to notice and offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £30.00 per hour via an Umbrella Company.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing the day to day running of the caretaking, grounds maintenance and cleaners operating across the independent living schemes
  • Responsible for overseeing contractor management, and monitoring the KPIs to ensure value for money was being achieved
  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the Environmental Services Depot and supporting the existing team to develop their leadership skills
  • Leading the management of a stock of 12,000 trees, 26 playgrounds, pest control and the provision of cleaning schemes
  • Ensuring all current legislation and legal requirements were being met throughout works
  • Overseeing a budget of £1 million pounds and a team of colleagues

Experience required:

  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of improving VFM services
  • Experience working in social housing
