Job Advert: Climbing Engineer
Location: Office based in Rochdale, with work across the UK
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Annual Leave: 20 days + bank holidays
Delta Obstruction Lighting are looking for a motivated and reliable Climbing Engineer to join our team! This exciting role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will have electrical experience, but no climbing experience is required as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work across the UK, installing aircraft warning lights for a range of clients
- Ensure high standards of safety while working at height
- Conduct electrical work, assisting in the installation and maintenance of systems
- Maintain accurate records and comply with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Must be a driver with a full UK driving license
- Climbing experience is desirable but not required – full training will be provided
- Electrical experience is preferred, particularly for those with a background as electricians' mates or similar
- Comfortable with working at heights
- Willing to work away from home when required
- Any electrical qualifications are a big plus!
