Teaching Assistant with SEND experience

Cover People are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in Rochdale. The role is to start ASAP and will be ongoing if the candidate is successful.

The Role

A primary school in Oldham are currently looking for a versatile Teaching Assistant who has experience with Special Needs to support within the classroom. The school has high SEND and EAL children within the school. The ability to be able to support in any year group, especially with challenging children and SEND is highly desired.

The candidate must have:

  • 6 months experience working with children
  • Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • DBS on update register
  • References for last 2 years work history
  • Up to date CV
