HR Assistant / Human Resources Administrator who has excellent administrative, organisational, communication and people skills is required for a well-established company based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, North West England.
SALARY: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Generous Benefits (see below)

Due to the growth of the HR Team, we now have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HR Assistant / Human Resources Administrator who has excellent administrative, organisational, communication and people skills.
Working as the HR Assistant / Human Resources Administrator you will play a vital part in supporting all aspects of the HR function, which will include supporting the recruitment process (vetting candidates, assisting interviews, issuing contracts), keeping employee records updated, supporting HR-related training programs, processing payroll and overseeing events and meetings.
As the HR Assistant / Human Resources Administrator you will need excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to work using your own initiative whilst supporting the Group HR, Compliance and ESG Manager with service delivery.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Assistant / Human Resources Administrator include:
- Assist the Group HR, Compliance & ESG Manager in ensuring the delivery of service requirements within the department
- Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts
- Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
- Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records, including holiday and sickness leaves
- Processing payroll and assisting with the documentation of employee compensation and benefits
- Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops and seminars
- Entering employee data into computer database
- Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
- Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities
- Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications
- Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills gained from working within a similar environment or role
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to manage one’s own workload to a set standard of SLA.
- Able to forge strong working relationships with Stakeholders of all levels
- High level of IT confidence, including intermediate Excel skills
- Pro-active approach to problem solving
- Fully competent using HR systems, able to pull reports etc
- Able to work on own initiative, unsupervised, but also contribute to an effective team
Desirable Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- HR experience or CIPD Level 3 or equivalent (completed or working towards)
- Some knowledge of employment law
