KS3/4 Tutor
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for a tutor to work alongside pupils in KS4 who attend their education at an SEMH school in Rochdale. The school is for students in Keys Stages 2 to 4 with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) identifying SEMH.
The position is open to all experienced in tutoring young people, either within or outside of a school setting. The role would also be suitable to a graduate with experience supporting others or a TA who is looking for a different role. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

- Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a similar setting
- LEVEL 3 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferable
- GCSE Maths and English and Computer literate
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
