Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic and committed people available to work as a behaviour support assistant .

This is a temporary full-time long-term supply role starting ASAP to December 2024 in the first instance.

The Role

Behaviour Support Assistant

Five days a week 8.15am to 3.30pm

Providing support on a one-to-one basis or in small groups

Assisting students with literacy, numeracy, and general subject knowledge

Supporting individuals with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties

Assisting those with mental health needs and anxiety

Provide holistic support based around social, emotional, behavioural, physical, mental & academic progress.

Collaborating with the SEN team, senior leaders, heads of departments, parents and carers, social workers, and other professionals in the child's multidisciplinary team.

To join us and be successful in this Behaviour Support Assistant role, you will need to:

  • a minimum of six week's experience of working with children in the last 3 years supported by references
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with a full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work full time in the UK
