Location: Rochdale

Contract Type: Contract, full time. Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3pm. Starting ASAP until July 2025. Could extend for the right English Teacher.

Salary: 140 - 200 per day (Depending on Experience)

Are you a passionate and fully qualified English Teacher seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our vibrant secondary school in Rochdale are looking for a dedicated English Teacher to teach pupils up to KS4. This role is full time with potential to go permanent for the right English Teacher. The school are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the Uk.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
2. Planning and Preparation: Develop well-structured and creative lesson plans, tailored to the needs of the students and aligned with the curriculum.
3. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and fostering a love for English Literature and Language.
4. Assessment: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the English department and school community.
