We are a well-regarded school in the heart of Rochdale are currently seeking a dynamic Humanities Teacher to join their team with immediate effect. This role is to start immediately and offers full-time engagement with a competitive daily rate of £150-£200, dependent on your experience. For the right candidate, there's a promising opportunity for this position to transition into a permanent role. You must hold Qualified Teacher status (QTS) for this role.

About the Role:

  • Subject Specialism: You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons in Humanities,

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred, but we are open to considering strong candidates with significant teaching experience.
  • Experience: You should have a solid background in teaching Humanities, with the ability to cover History. Experience in managing diverse classrooms and dealing with challenging behaviour is essential.
  • Skills: Exceptional classroom management skills are a must. You should be confident, proactive, and enthusiastic about teaching, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
