The SEND Support assistant Role:

• Providing tailored support to pupils with a variety of needs, ensuring every learner can thrive.
• Supporting classroom activities and engaging pupils in both educational and vocational tasks.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation in line with individualised plans.
• Building strong, nurturing relationships with students to help them feel safe, secure, and valued.

What We're Looking For in the successful SEND Support assistant:

• A compassionate and patient SEND Support Assistant who can work with children and young people facing diverse challenges.
• Experience in SEND settings or with pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties is desirable.
• A proactive and positive attitude, with excellent communication skills.
