I am looking for an experienced Project Engineer to work in the Rochester area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

Role: Project Engineer

Location: Rochester

Contract: Freelance

Rate: 430- 450- per day

When: ASAP

Duties will include:

  • Assist with the Project Management
  • Assist in the production of the contract programme
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Liaise with site management on design and procurement
  • Assist in the preparation of the construction completion and take over
  • Technical coordination
  • Challenge all stakeholders to identify opportunities
  • Work closely with Project Quantity Surveyor to generate cost plans

Skills Required:

  • Project Engineering experience
  • Experience of delivering utilising NEC3 form of contract
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline.
  • Preferably APMP or equivalent
  • Previous experience within water treatment (Non-Infrastructure)

Skills Desirable:

  • Ambitious and dynamic personality
  • MEICA/Civil works multi-disciplined interfacing
  • Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
  • Someone with a commitment to Right first time
