JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Rochester
- PAYE Salary: 16.80 p/h up to 40 hours / overtime after 40 hours at 21.00 p/h
- UMBRELLA PAYE salary also available on request
- Employment Type: Temp to perm and ad hoc options available
- Shift: Days with early start, rolling rota (5 days on 1 off, 5 days on 2 off, including weekends)
- Job Type: Full-time
- 5 days on 1 off
- 5 days on 2 off
- Include weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicle and bus according to company and legal guidelines
- Loading and unloading using either a forklift truck or an electric pump truck (full training provided).
- Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Conduct vehicle checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers.
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 & Cat D PVC licence
- Valid CPC card
- Valid Taco card
- Proven experience in similar roles.
- Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
