Mechanical Estimator Duties:
- Review document tenders and raise any RFIs with the client.
- Research the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour, and equipment.
- Retrieve costs from suppliers and contractors.
- Perform take-offs as required, conforming to standard estimating conventions.
- Utilize estimating software (e.g., Trimble/Ensign).
- Prepare tenders for internal decisions.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders.
- Participate in the handover of projects to the operation/project teams.
Mechanical Packages Range:
- 1K-3M, requiring quotations for:
- Air conditioning
- Ventilation
- Plumbing
- Insulation
- Controls and commissioning
- Validations, mainly targeting CatA and CatB commercial works
