Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a specialist contractor to recruit a Junior Health and Safety Advisor. This organisation provides high-quality fit-out services to prestigious retail clients across the UK and is looking to expand its health and safety team as part of its continued growth plans.
This position would suit an enthusiastic, passionate safety professional who is keen to join and develop their career within a forward-thinking and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities for the Junior Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- Supporting with the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Reviewing the production of risk assessments and method statements
- Support the outsourced health and safety consultants with audits and inspections where required, identifying areas for improvement and helping write reports on the findings
The successful Junior Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally from within construction, although not essential
- NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate minimum
- Good communication skills
- Drive and enthusiasm with the willingness to learn, develop and grow in the role
