We are currently looking for a Health & Safety / QA Manager to join a well established and highly successful Strucutral Steel and Architectural Metal fabrication workshop in Kent, please see below job spec.

STEEL OR CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

Hours:                  Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

Basis:                   Full time employed

Salary:                 £55k - £60k

Based:                 Head Office in Rochester, Kent

Qualifications: NEBOSH (Not ESSENTIAL but preferable)

Package:            Company car, mobile phone, company pension scheme, 28 days paid annual leave incl. Bank Holidays

Duties:                 All aspects of H & S for Workshop and site operations

                                Implementing new procedures and processes and managing the OHSM system

                                Accident and incident reporting RIDDOR

                                Site safety inspections

                                Attend customer H & S meetings and conferences

                                Managing staff training programme

Fire safety and Risk management

Producing and managing RAMS             

                                QA Procedures in terms of UKCA Accreditation

                                QA Procedures in terms of Factory Production Control

                                QA recording and sign-off
