28k-33k competitive salary dependent on experience & attitude

Monday to Friday 9:00am - 7:00pm (1 in 3 Saturday mornings)

I am currently seeking a well organised, dynamic, Transportcandidate with a strong background in UK Planning.

This role is a vital position within the team and requires a committed, hard workingapplicantwith the ability to solve problems effectively, and an interest in progression for the right person. You will be an active, hands-on member of the team, dealing daily with the fleet of drivers whilst ensuring the planning is done in the most cost effective and quickest way.

Duties for this role include:

  • UK planning for a fleet of HGV vehicles in the quickest and most cost effective manner
  • Liaising with drivers daily regarding delivery updates
  • Day to day communication with customers
  • Liaising with other departments where necessary
  • Updating the TMS daily
  • Keeping up to date on any failed or late deliveries
  • Other ad hoc administrative duties

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Recent experience working within a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work well alone as well as within a team
  • Flexible working hours
  • A proactive approach to work and have the ability to think on their feet
