Sales Consultant

We are proud to be working with a successful local business who are looking to grow their sales team with a new Sales Consultant.

As an experienced Sales Consultant you will conduct professional communication with clients.   You will be responsible for driving turnover, customer transaction value and overall sales within the company. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, confident, and ambitious to own their position.

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Track and report on sales activity, analysing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Stay current on industry trends, products, and competitive landscapes to enhance sales strategies and effectively address customer needs
  • Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner, upholding the organisation's reputation and values
  • Effectively deal with and handle inbound lead enquiries via phone, email, and video calls
  • Deliver Consultations to potential customers offering support and guidance on the process, whilst looking for opportunities to upsell and create further awareness of our services (full training provided)
  • Respond to all enquiries and ongoing email correspondence within 24 hours
  • Track and report on sales activity ready for monthly 1 to 1s

The ideal candidate would have:

  • 1-2 years’ experience within a sales environment, preferably within an office
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, from qualifying leads to negotiating and closing sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with customers and effectively communicate the benefits of the company's products or services
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals

Benefits:

  • £25,000 basic salary, 1st year OTE £35,000, 2nd year OTE £40,000 (Uncapped commission, payable upon customer’s paid invoices)
