Reporting to the Marketing Executive the successful candidate will work with their direct report to produce industry-leading content for use across our social media channels, our website, customer emails, blogs, thought pieces, and award entries with the aim of driving AJ Chambers to the next level. You will be involved in building and implementing digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive brand recognition. The Marketing Assistant will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or projects.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting maintenance of websites including copy writing, content management (uploading files, content amendments/updates etc.)
- Assisting in the creation and delivery of social media content
- Assisting in creating graphics, video content, source images and audio content
- Supporting creation of reports on marketing activities using analytics under the guidance of the Marketing Executive
- General administration duties to support digital marketing function
- Good at spotting opportunities, picking up on trends, bringing new ideas
- Schedule posts on social media management platform
- Create basic posts for job ads across all social channels, ensuring there is enough variety per brand
- Support Marketing Executive in operational set up of campaigns
- Support with internal charity events and all materials and social posts required
- Celebrate internal achievements, promotions and highlight them on our social media channels
- Assist the Marketing Executive in organisation of event marketing material, operational implementation, and liaising internally and externally with relevant people
- Assist Marketing Executive in analysis of market research results and packaging them out for external reporting
- Support with writing generic content pieces for resource material
- Be a brand ambassador, and always looking for opportunities or new ways to engage our audience
Candidate requirements:
- English A level grade B and above
- Excellent writing skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office - including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- A basic knowledge/experience of email marketing services
- Desirable - A basic knowledge of adobe design software e.g. Photoshop, Canva
- Keen eye for design
