About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Audit Senior to join our dynamic team in Ingatestone. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading audit engagements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing valuable insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Review financial statements and ensure they are prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Identify areas of risk within clients' businesses and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a point of contact for client queries.
  • Stay up to date with changes in auditing standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an audit role, preferably within a practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
