Senior Pump Engineer required for our client, an Essex-based contractor that offers a wide array of services within the pumps industry, specialising in the service, maintenance, and replacement of pumps within the sewage, wastewater, and building services industry.
Senior Pump Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £52k - £55k, depending on experience
- Company van
- Door to door travel pay
- No call out rota
- Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (45 hours)
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays (rising with tenure)
The majority of the clients that the company work with are blue-chip companies such as facilities maintenance providers that maintain commercial properties including office blocks, tourist attractions, and high-end restaurants/hotels.
Due to expansion, our client has an opening for an experienced Senior Pump Engineer to join their service and maintenance team, carrying out works across London and the home counties, along with assisting the management team with surveys, quoting, and scheduling works for the wider engineering team.
Senior Pump Engineer Position Responsibilities
- Based remotely, travelling out to sites across London and the surrounding areas and completing servicing and maintenance works on pumps related to the waste and clean water industries
- Supervising a team of engineers, including scheduling works and ensuring that engineer's have all tools/materials needed to carry out works
- Liaising directly with clients, from the initial surveying and quoting stage, through to the completion of the contract, being the point of call for clients throughout
Senior Pump Engineer Position Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of pumps within the wastewater, sewage, and clean water industries, particularly within commercial building services settings
- Experience surveying sites and quoting to clients
- Previous experience supervising engineering teams essential, with any experience managing scheduling of works desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within London or the home counties - within a commutable distance of Rainham, Essex
