Our client is seeking to appoint for an experience estimator with a history Fire doors. Ideally, you will have recent experience in estimating works related to fire protection and Passive fire..

This office and site-based role provides ample opportunity to travel across Romford and London regions.

Responsibilities:
• Reviewing client inquiries and issuing Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Liaise with the commercial team during tender process
• Seek and process quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
• General estimating, preparing bids etc.

What we require from you?
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within fire protection & fire door industry
- Experience in estimating within the passive fire protection industry or a related construction sector
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards (e.g., BS 476, EN 1366, ASFP guidelines)
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, or specialist fire protection estimating tools)
- A relevant qualification in construction, fire protection, or quantity surveying is desirable but not essential
