Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Management:
- Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and compliance.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify cost-saving initiatives.
- Streamline the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Understand and support the production of detailed management accounts.
- Analyse financial data for insights and recommendations.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to measure success.
- Assist in preparing variance analyses and financial results commentary.
- Lead the preparation of technical papers in consultation with advisors.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Support and develop finance team members.
- Delegate responsibilities for team efficiency and career development.
- Identify training needs and support professional development.
- Systems and Process Improvements:
- Lead the implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes.
- Drive the adoption of advanced technologies for accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
- Project Involvement:
- Act as a financial lead on business projects.
- Enhance collaboration between finance and other departments.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial partners.
- Qualified/ finalist accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Proven track record in strategic financial management.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience with financial systems and process improvements.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
