Are you an Accounts Manager who has supervised the AP and AR process? Would you like to work in the Romford area with flexibility to work from home?
Transparent is pleased to partner with this well-established and highly successful business in the recruitment of an Accounts Manager.
Reporting into the Head of Finance and overseeing a small team of AP and AR Clerks, your role would be to manage, guide and develop your team to reach their full potential.
Main duties:
- Leading and managing a team, providing mentorship and guidance
- Carrying out performance reviews and appraisals
- Overseeing the entire AP process to ensure timely processing of invoices
- Supervising the AR process and monitoring customer accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Preparing monthly AP and AR reports
- Supporting the month-end and year-end closing process
- Balance sheet reconciliations
The Person:
- Proven experience in an AP/AR management capacity, ideally with knowledge of the construction sector - CIS
- Previous experience of managing and leading a small team
- Good communicator and mentor
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
