Are you passionate about building relationships and delivering high-quality services? Our client is seeking a dynamic Supplier & School Relationship Officer to join their Starting Well Directorate within the Learning & Achievement, Traded Services section to manage relationships with a range of suppliers, to ensure the delivery of high quality, cost effective services that deliver best value for money and helps achieve commercial objectives and outcomes for traded services.

You will facilitate and support the process of sourcing and procurement of best value and compliant goods and services that are required as part of the provision of catering and other traded services to schools and settings.

Key Responsibilities:

路 Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective service delivery.

路 Act as a primary contact for Traded Services, fostering strong connections with schools, suppliers, and partners.

路 Ensure suppliers meet contractual commitments, KPIs, and pricing agreements.

路 Support the mobilisation of new contracts and prepare service specifications for tendering processes.

路 Monitor goods and services provided to schools, addressing any issues promptly.

路 Collaborate on invoicing, identifying anomalies, and ensuring compliance with legislation.

What We're Looking For:

路 A Certificate/Diploma in contract management or procurement.

路 Substantial experience in managing contracts and delivering improvements in service provision.

路 Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce insightful reports.

路 Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
