Special Needs Teaching Assistant required to support a KS1 student with Learning Difficulties.

Working with a 'Good' primary school in the Havering area to recruit an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant with the knowledge to support a student with Autism/ADHD and an understanding of triggers/traits to make education a positive environment for the student.

For this Special Needs Teaching Assistant :

  • Experience and knowledge of working with Autism/ADHD in a school or care based setting.
  • To understand triggers/traits and make a positive learning environment.
  • To be calm, patient and have a caring approach to working with children that have Special Educational Needs.
  • Building the social/ emotional skills of the student whilst promoting trust and confidence.
  • To have good communication and organisational skills, patient with a positive attitude.
  • To be professional at all times keeping to school policies and procedures

Qualification

Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant / SEND or Care qualification

All successful applicants will have access to training courses and on going support.
