Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner, is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a temporary position with one of our esteemed clients based in Lydd. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a dynamic team.
Accounts Receivable ClerkDay-to-day of the role:
- Efficiently manage the incoming payments and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date billing system and carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
- Facilitate swift payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients with outstanding accounts.
Accounts Receivable ClerkRequired Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- High level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Proficient in relevant accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to build relationships with clients.
