Introduction

This role offers you the chance to be an integral part of a senior leadership team within an established independent school. You’ll have the opportunity to create a nurturing and stimulating setting for children aged 2 to pre-school, utilising fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities including a nature area, forest school, farm, swimming pool, and playing fields.

Key Responsibilities & Offerings
  • Leadership & Management:

    • Oversee daily operations and guide a dedicated team, including deputy managers, room leaders, and nursery practitioners.
    • Play a pivotal role in shaping the nursery’s strategic direction and contributing to the wider school development plan.
  • Creating a Nurturing Environment:

    • Ensure a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning space that fosters the growth and development of every child.
    • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to maintain a supportive community.

About You
  • Qualifications & Experience:

    • A Level 3 childcare qualification is essential.
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a management role within an early years setting.
