CAD Technician (Progression to Project Engineer)
£30,000 - £35,000 + Training + 25 Days Holiday + Company Bonus

Are you a CAD Technician looking to become a rounded Project Engineer where you will be given ongoing training and development, involved in a wide variety of day-to-day work, and have the opportunity to work on large scale projects across the UK and overseas?

On offer is a great chance to move into a varied role for a long-standing manufacturer, where you can progress your skills in a technical and customer facing role.

In this role you will be liaising with customers, contractors, and the internal departments to ensure projects are moving along smoothly. You will be involved in preparing quotations, tenders, and BOMs, along with raising orders and problem solving on large scale projects. There will be often site visits across the UK and sometimes overseas.

This is a long-standing, family run manufacturing company who are aiming to seriously establish their market position in their specialist sector. They are expanding their team due to their continued growth and pride themselves on their extremely low turnover of staff.

This role would suit a CAD Technician looking to be moulded into a Project Engineer with plenty of internal development and training, working in a close-knit and collaborative environment.

The Role:

Managing and coordinating projects within a manufacturing environment
Liaising with customers, contractors, and internal departments
Preparing tenders, BOMs, and quotations
Travelling to customer sites across the UK and overseas
Ongoing training given through shadowing engineers
Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, finish at 1pm on Friday
