Are you a Junior Estimator or similar and able to interpret engineering drawings looking for a diverse and challenging customer facing role for a long-standing family-run business, offering tailored development plans and clear routes to progress to senior roles?
In this role you will be primarily office-based and acting as the glue between the customer and the internal departments, coordinating the sales process for a range of projects. This will involve looking at tender packages to analyse the drawings, performing material take offs then preparing quotations, with ongoing training given in the team.
Founded 70 years ago, this family-run manufacturer pride themselves on their extremely low turnover of staff and their continued success at the top in their specialist sector. They are looking to continue their organic growth with the addition of this new role.
This role would suit a Junior Estimator or similar looking to join a company where they will be continuously developed and moulded into a Project/Sales Coordinator, in a customer facing position.
The Role:
- Liaising with customers, contractors and internal departments to process sales
- Analysing technical drawings, performing material take offs, and preparing quotes
- Ongoing training given through shadowing in house and room to progress in the business
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, finish at 1pm on Friday
The Person:
- Junior Estimator or similar
- Able to interpret engineering drawings
- Local to Romsey
