An exciting opportunity at a leading manufacturer in the defence industry has hit the market; our Herefordshire based client is hiring for a RF Microwave Design Engineer.
The RF Microwave Design Engineer will directly report to the Technical Director.
Main responsibilities of the RF Microwave Design Engineer, based in Herefordshire:
- Create & Design RF microwave amplifiers and sub-systems
- Schematic capture
- Component creation
- Simulation of designs
- Bringing design prototypes to life(concept to production)
Requirements of the RF Microwave Design Engineer, based in Herefordshire:
- Have experience working with amplifiers producing several 100 watts
- Working up to 20GHz frequency range
- Working with RF test equipment such as spectrum analysers, power meters, and signal generators
- Has experience working with filters, switches, received, and power supply
- Altium Design package experience is a MUST
- Microwave Office
- C+
- C++
