Your new companyA thriving and growing agricultural business is collaborating with Hays to source for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team. Your new roleAs a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing supplier invoices, up to circa 500 per month.
  • Handling supplier queries.
  • Performing account reconciliation, journal posting, and reporting.
  • Supporting the accountant with ad hoc tasks and month-end accounts preparation.

What you'll need to succeedTo excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong PC skills, particularly in accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • The ability to multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven, previous experience as a purchase ledger
