With impressive growth plans, this business has developed into a market leading specialist in land remediation, leisure space development, and site operations.As part of a new phase of expansion we are looking for a qualified and ambitious Management Accountant to join this dynamic team and take their career to the next level! Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in improving finance functions while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of financial operations.As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for producing accurate, detailed, and timely accounts. This is the perfect position for a passionate finance professional who is eager to contribute to a focused and driven team while mentoring junior staff and having the potential to develop your career.Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management sccounts for all group entities
Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and daily cash flow forecasting
Performing KPI & variance analysis, and detailed monthly OPEX analysis
Overseeing Purchase Orders (PO) & Goods Received Notes (GRN) internal controls
Acting as a key point of contact during statutory financial audits
HMRC reporting, including quarterly VAT and levy returns
Reporting to the environment agency, including quarterly waste returns
Mentoring and supporting junior staff with ongoing studies
Assisting with ERP system upgrades and improvements
Supporting the Head of Finance with ad-hoc finance projects and covering other finance functions as required

Key Skills & Qualifications:

CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualified
Proven experience in preparing management accounts
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
