Business Development Executive / Sales Consultant with previous experience in prospecting / lead generation, client account management and running the full sales lifecycle is required for a leading and award-winning IT & Comms company based in Haslingden, Lancashire.
ALL SALES EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED
Ideally you will have experience selling IT & Communication services within a business-to-business / B2B environment. However, the company will consider sales professionals from all industries, providing you have a solid business development background and are keen to break into the IT Sales Industry.
SALARY: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonus + Benefits
LOCATION: Hybrid working a mix of working from home, working from the office in Haslingden and visiting clients at their premises
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday

DUTIES
Your duties as a Business Development Executive / Sales Consultant will include:
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and target potential clients in need of IT support services
- Use various channels (cold calling, networking, social media, etc.) to generate leads
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage prospective clients
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
- Conduct client meetings and presentations either face to face or online to understand their IT needs
- Create tailored proposals and solutions to meet client requirements with assistance and support of the management team
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts
- Maintain a deep understanding of the companys service offerings and competitive landscape
Pipeline Management
- Manage and update the sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Track and report on sales performance metrics
- Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of client inquiries and proposals
Contract Negotiation & Closing
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms are favourable and compliant with company policies
- Close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
Market Research & Analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Provide feedback to management on market developments and client needs
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or a related role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and closing opportunities
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
