Position: Teaching Assistant (1:1 Role) - Year 4 Location: Rossendale (BB4)Start Date: September 2024Hours: Full-Time (5 Days a Week)

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team for a 1:1 role with a pupil in year 4. This position involves working closely with a child to support their individual learning needs and help them integrate into the school community. The role is five days a week, 08:30 until 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• The school are looking for a really nurturing individual who can make a real difference.
• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil in year 4 with challenging behaviour.
• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and document the student's progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Support the child in developing social skills and building confidence within the classroom setting.
• Help with classroom management and organisation.
