Hague Personnel has an exciting job opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company based in Haslingden, Lancashire.
The successful candidate will have previous Technical / Mechanical Design experience and will be experienced in the use of Autodesk Inventor.
General duties to include but not limited to:
- Use of Auto CAD and 3D Inventor.
- To ensure all products designed are fit for purpose and comply with the latest industry regulations.
- To work with sales, purchasing, sub-contractors and production departments to deliver high quality engineered products.
- To ensure the successful delivery of all design projects allocated.
- To support the sales department with new designs and customer quote drawings.
- To continuously improve on product design methods and production procedures.
- Ensuring adherence to all company policies and prevailing business regulations.
- Working within the automotive industry.
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous Technical/ Mechanical Design experience .
- Proactive attitude to problem solving and solutions.
- Computer literate.
- Previous 3D Inventor experience is essential to be considered for the role, CAD experience is highly desirable
Contract Type: Full time / permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 2pm
Salary: Competitive salary, negotiable dependant on experience
Holiday Entitlement: 23 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays
