Operating within the Industrial sector, our client is renowned for delivering high-quality products and services across multiple sites. Role Overview:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, and supporting the business's continued growth. Working closely with HR and finance teams, you will ensure all payroll-related activities are carried out efficiently and in compliance with current legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Perform calculations for SSP, SMP, and other statutory deductions.
  • Conduct regular audits of payroll processes and records.
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with the latest payroll legislation and apply updates correctly.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to maintain accurate staff records.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets related to payroll.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the payroll function.

About You - The Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will bring a combination of experience, technical expertise, and attention to detail. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ready to take ownership of the payroll process.

  • Proven experience in a similar payroll role.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in payroll software and MS Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • A team player who can also work independently when required.
