LINE MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS

Immediate Starts Available

Location: East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington

Schedule: 5-5-4 Shifts (12 hour shifts)

8,212.50 per month UP to 182.5 hours per month (If less hours are worked due to aircraft schedules, monthly salary not affected) Overtime hours above 182.5 per month will be effective.

Ideally you will have the PW4000 engine and the CF6 engine on your licence ... however, if you have the RB211 - engine courses will be made available.

Job Description:

We are seeking highly skilled and qualified B1 Licensed Engineers with expertise on B747 aircraft equipped with PW4000 / CF6 engines to join our aviation maintenance team at East Midlands Airport, Derbyshire

As a B1 Licensed Engineer, your primary responsibilities will be to perform Line Maintenance Support, Maintenance, Inspections, and Repair tasks on Boeing 747 aircraft, with a specific focus on PW4000 & CF6 Engines ... however if you have RB211 or JT9D engines on licence - engine courses will be made available.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Boeing B747 aircraft.
2. Perform thorough inspections, troubleshoot issues, and rectify technical problems to ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness.
3. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Collaborate with a team of skilled aviation professionals to meet maintenance and turnaround schedules.
5. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve technical issues.
6. Stay current with all relevant aircraft and engine manuals, service bulletins, and technical documents.
7. Comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines, including Health and Safety regulations.
8. Occasional element of on ground support at other UK Airport(s).

Qualifications:

- CAA B1 License with B747 endorsement.
- Current with PW4000 / CF6 Engines (Ideal but not essential)
- Knowledge of current aviation regulations and safety protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work in a 5-5-4 Shift System
- Full Rights to Work in the United Kingdom.
