Description
- Manage supplier performance and conduct audits
- Develop and implement supplier quality evaluation and control systems
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve supplier quality issues
- Conduct training and workshops for suppliers on quality standards and expectations
- Participate in the selection of new suppliers
- Prepare and present performance reports to the management team
Profile
A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:
- Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and supplier quality systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
