Due to an increase in orders we are proud to be seeking a semi skilled or experienced Pattern Maker to join our rapidly expanding Rotherham based manufacturer on a full time permanent basis. As a Pattern Maker you will be reporting into the Supervisor and will be responsible for working as part of a small close knit team in a prestige environment. Day to day duties will include:
- Assembling and preparing patterns for the ceramic mould department.
- Operating 3D sand printing machine.
- Cleaning and preparing products for casting 3D sand printed moulds.
- Ensuring all patterns have been measured by the CMM department prior to assembly.
- Transferring tool paths to CNC machines in the Pattern shop and manufacturing parts.
- Raising NCR's when required.
- Ensure equipment is calibrated prior to use.
As a Pattern Maker you will be required to:
- Use cutting and measuring equipment.
- Have a positive and eager attitude towards learning new things.
- Ensure housekeeping is maintained to a high standard.
- Read from engineering drawings to interpret customer requirements.
This role would suit someone with experience working as a Pattern Maker or Pattern Engineer within a manufacturing, production, castings or engineering environment. As full training can be provided our client is also keen to hear from Graduates, Joiners, Carpenters and CNC Operators / Machinists who are looking to take their career in a different direction.

- Pay dependant on previous experience. Semi skilled salary £28,200, skilled salary £34,150
