Renewables - Business Development Manager
Salary circa £45k with a realistic OTE £70k plus Car and Benefits
Location Yorkshire/Hull regions (place on one site in Doncaster and another in York)

If so, we want you to join our client as a Business Development Manager (BDM)!
Our client is a rapidly growing Energy business Operating within the Renewables sector, They offer commercial Renewable energy solutions with no upfront cost to the customer, they have secured over 10 million pounds of investment and as part of their big growth plans are looking to build their Sales team. As a key player in driving the companys growth, the BDM will focus on identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and expanding our client base within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities for CAPEX, Finance, and PPA Renewable projects in line with company objectives
Manage and monitor a string sales pipeline
Target new and existing sales opportunities in collaboration with the operations team to improve conversion rates and sales proactivity.
Maintain consistent best practices in sales, ensuring a strong brand presence for internal and external customers.
Monitor and report key sales performance metrics to the senior leadership team.
Utilise CRM systems to track leads, calls, matured projects, and relevant sales data.
Identify cross-selling opportunities to maximise customer value.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in sales, with at least 1 year in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Previous B2B Sales experience
- A good understanding of Finance solutions for the Renewables sector
- Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving results
- Experience with CRM applications and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
