Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled Shop Floor Team are delighted to be working in partnership with a manufacturing business based within the Rotherham area.
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join the team at this exciting time of expansion.
SALARY: up to £35,000
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30 - 16:00
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set and operate Fanuc controlled CNC turning machines
- Work to customer specifications with minimal supervision once trained.
- Maintain high quality while working to tight tolerances, taking responsibility for you own work.
- Use initiative to understand and follow the manufacturing process.
- Report tooling requirements to your immediate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organised working area.
- Take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks related to your role, and control or report them to management as appropriate.
- Identify hazards effectively.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a CNC operator
- Proficient in using hand tools, mills and other machinery
- Understanding of tooling operations
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Engineering based qualification or time served
