Our client is a UK Landscaping & Sports Pitch Contractor based in the South EastThey handle the entire project lifecycle, including full Civil & Surfacing packages as well as Design & Build phases.
As they continue to grow, they are looking for a Contracts Manager with a proven track record in managing and delivering multi-disciplinary commercial landscape projects. The ideal candidate will have experience ensuring projects are completed on time, meet specifications, and achieve planned margins, with project values ranging from £100K to £5 million.
Role Overview
As the Contracts Manager, you will be based in the South East and will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the successful delivery of various planned works within budget, on time, safely, and in full compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and motivate a team of Site & Project Managers, as well as other staff members.
- Oversee Contractors and direct operatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to residents and the public.
- Collaborate closely with the supply chain and clients, offering high-quality technical expertise on all construction matters.
- Stay up to date with the latest Health & Safety regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager with a similar type of contractor.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly process-driven and results-oriented.
- Strong team management skills and the ability to address on-site issues effectively.
