Vendor / Supplier Contracts Manager

We are partnered with a highly reputable client within the financial service sector, that are looking for an experienced Vendor / Supplier Contracts Manager to work on a very exciting permanent opportunity based in the United Kingdom.

Role: Vendor / Supplier Contracts Manager 

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum

Location: Various Locations

Style: Permanent, Hybrid

The Role:

The successful candidate will ensure that delivery of end-to-end services by third-party suppliers are achieved to agreed service level agreements (SLA’s) and key performance indicators, as well as identifying opportunities for improved service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following as part of their role:

• Review and evolve the vendor / supplier selection and monitoring framework.
• Have a full understanding of and oversee delivery of contractual terms and conditions including:

• Contracts
• Reporting
• Compliance
• Risk management

• Ensure that vendor / supplier interactions are managed and supporting data is available.
• Monitor supplier performance against the outlined standards, including SLAs and KPI’s.
• Coordinate input from colleagues working directly with the supplier.
• Forming a holistic view of the Vendors performance.
• Support the identification and management of outsourced risks.
• Ensure that material for the Management Board’s monthly meetings are shared to business timelines ahead of the meetings.
• Maintain relevant market and industry knowledge for outsourcing.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Holds a proven track record of successfully nurturing vendor / supplier relationships
• Extensive track record of supplier selection, onboarding and offboarding
• Ability to understand and apply contracted arrangements.
• Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
• Understanding of risk management and compliance.
• Commercial awareness.
• Excellent communicator as well as team player.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to write detailed reports and present data to a range of stakeholders.
