Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Rotherham
Salary: Up to 27k
Metalis is working in partnership with a large specialist engineering company in Rotherham who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a Customer Service Representative on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for handling price and requests for quotes from customers via email/telephone and following up on pending or issued quotations.
- Responsible for sales process; including qualifying, relationship building, needs evaluation, solution development / presentation and closing.
- Identifying new sales opportunities through proactive questioning to ensure maximum share of customer's testing business.
- Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers.
- Proactively engage with customers using phone, email, web conferencing.
- Manage relationships with customers.
- Focus on straight lead time from standard price lists.
- Work with departments to resolve complaints.
Person Specification:
- A valid UK driver's license.
- The ideal candidate will be customer focused, action oriented, approachable, and patient.
- Build and maintain a working knowledge of service offerings; participate in training / coaching opportunities.
- Technical quoting experience would be an advantage.
- 12 months of customer service experience with quoting experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer quotes / contracts, marketing materials, and customer testing specifications.
- Ability to calculate figures.
Shifts and Salary:
- Days regular, Monday-Friday.
- 24-27k dependent on experience.
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
