If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as an Instrumental Calibration Engineer at our customer embedded lab in Rotherham.



About the Role

Joining our team as an Instrumentation Engineer you will undertake measurement and calibration to the correct procedures, instructions, and specifications employing metrology techniques and equipment. Maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner. You will have the ability to read technical/CAD drawings and operate equipment to measure required detail. You will assist in the development and improvement of inspection and calibration procedures and participate in external/internal audits as required by the Trescal Quality Manager within the customer/Trescal facility. All aspects of work should be implemented to QH&S/HS&E standards at all times. The opportunity to expand your knowledge into CMM Metrology will be available.

Essential Skills

  • Ideally a technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or above
  • Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017
  • Extensive calibration knowledge and UKAS certification preferred
  • Knowledge of Windows-based and laboratory automation software
  • Experience of working within a customer focussed environment
