Our client, a reputable secondary school in Doncaster, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is interested in working in a school environment and supporting the education of students across various subjects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
- Deliver pre-set work and instructions provided by the absent teacher.
- Support students in completing tasks and understanding lesson content.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other cover supervisors.
- Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the overall functioning of the school.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their education.
