A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a General Manager within one of our clients, a market leader in the marine industry.
This is a full time, permanent position with the option of hybrid working.
Role Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful, long-term management of marine and petrochemical terminal operations across the UK, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients and management teams to promote continuous improvement in working practices.
- Manage company team leaders remotely, ensuring effective leadership and communication.
- Drive training, performance management, and succession planning to maintain high standards across the organization.
- Take ownership of P&L for multiple sites, including budget delegation and governance, while developing and delivering business performance reports.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities within and adjacent to the petrochemical sector to drive company growth.
- Flexibility to travel across the UK to visit various sites as required.
To qualify for this position you must have proven similar experience working within the Petrochemical or Marine industries.
This position offers excellent remuneration, including a basic salary of at least £70,000 per annum, and benefits.
