Provide Education are currently recruiting for a full time Teaching Assistants to start in the S25 area. 

We are looking for someone dedicated and proactive to support SEND pupils in primary schools in the S25 (Dinnington, North & South Anston, Laughton) and surrounding areas.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with students who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities – this is a great opportunity to work with smaller class sizes, or 1:1 with students. We're looking for experienced, engaging and kindhearted Teaching Assistants to join our team at Provide Education.

We have multiple roles available at the moment for SEND roles in mainstream schools, including full time roles, mornings only roles and part time. 

Responsibilities:

  • Working 1:1 with children or in smaller groups.
  • Supporting students on educational trips and visits.
  • Helping students with special educational needs to develop their social, and academic skills.
  • Working with children with a range of educational needs.
  • Encouraging an inclusive, and positive, classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • A DBS check is required as part of the recruitment process. Provide Education can support you with a new application if required.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with a professional approach.
  • A dedicated commitment to sustaining a secure and fair classroom environment.
  • Safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
  • Experience working with children with additional needs
  • A Teaching Assistant Qualification (advantageous but not essential)
