Manpower Print & Packaging Division are excited to bring a new opportunity to market for one of our prestigious Global Partners. We are on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (electrically biased), to join their existing team based in Rotherham, working a static afternoon shift of 2pm - 10pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on plant machinery independently under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance and maintain accurate records in line with schedules and standards.
  • Record maintenance activities and spare part usage in the SAP system to ensure data accuracy.
  • Execute maintenance tasks per work instructions and maintain workplace orderliness.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues and customers to enhance teamwork and performance.
  • Support continuous improvement through constructive problem-solving and collaboration.
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical installations per current legislation and standards.
  • Develop and enhance fault-finding processes and demonstrate skills in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems as required.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Trade qualification with excellent fault-finding skills.
  • Experience with PLC systems, process and equipment software, drives, motors, and the ability to interpret complex electrical schematics.
  • Extrusion or mailer machine experience would be advantageous.
