Adept Resourcing Commercial Department are excited to be working with a dynamic SME in the engineering and maintenance sector, dedicated to providing high-quality service and innovative solutions to their clients.

Through continued growth, we are looking for a driven and organised Operations Manager to join our client and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a tangible impact and grow within an expanding company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations and ensure accurate scheduling for engineers
  • Allocate jobs and breakdowns to engineers, optimising schedules to ensure full-service completion
  • Support HR functions, including recruitment, one-to-one meetings, and staff development
  • Lead strategic growth initiatives, focusing on operational efficiency and business scalability
  • Manage contract renewals, annual leave requests, and maintain essential records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that IT systems are future-proofed and support operational goals

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in managing operations in a customer-focused environment
  • Experience in the maintenance, waste management or facilities - contracts/service-based sales
  • Familiarity with workforce planning, scheduling tools, and performance monitoring
  • Strong leadership experience in fast-paced, results-oriented environments
